Common Sense Workshop: Protecting Our Kids’ Digital Privacy (BPL)

November 15, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Is it OK to post my child’s photo on social media? Who has access to my data? How are companies using and selling this information? What does “online privacy” even mean, and what can I do about protecting it?

Data on kids is now one of the biggest commodities for companies. Join Common Sense’s talk for parents and caregivers of young children and let’s delve into our top concerns! Together we will:

1. Learn more about what’s happening with our online footprint

2. Discover strategies we can use to protect our kids’ online privacy

3. Find our own personal “privacy comfort zone”

4. Talk about ways to encourage kids to have a healthy relationship with technology

This program will take place online via Zoom. Please RSVP to receive the Zoom link prior to the event.
